Hello and welcome!

Ok, so I am not completely new to blogging, I have a craft blog but I wanted a blog where I can keep up with everything else that's going on in my life. My little princess is starting to participate in tot school, we like to do Muffin Tin Mondays, and I love to find great deals and recipes, but I don't like to put those posts on my craft blog so here we are!

This week has been crazy! Actually this past month has been crazy if truth be told. We have 4 kids. They range in age from 2-14. The oldest three are boys and the youngest is a little girl. (My little princess!) Well on Monday all 4 went to the doctor. Two had slight colds, the oldest had strep which they thought may be mono and the other one had bronchitis. Since the oldest tested positive for strep, the doctor gave them all antibiotics. I am a little ADD and trying to make sure they all had their medicine on time everyday was very crazy. of course the Dr. couldn't give them all the same thing so they were all on different schedules for their meds. (I knew I should have got that Palm Pre I wanted, then I could have scheduled it all in the phone for reminders!) Not to mention in January our dog of 13 years died and in the middle of February we bought a puppy from the local dog pound and he got really sick all of a sudden last week.

(Doesn't he look miserable?)

He lost a lot of weight when he went for his booster shots and rewormer, he was 12 pounds. We took him home and he went from playing to not eating and just laying around so back to the vet we went two days later. This time he was 10.5 pounds and his gums were completely white! Apparently he was badly anemic and they seriously thought he was going to die, so not only did I have the kids to deal with but I had to give the dog fluids through an IV and syringe feed him every two hours. Luckily he seems to be doing better after all the IV fluids and high calorie food he was given. He still is pretty weak and doesn't want to do much but lay around. Hopefully next week will be a little calmer. (That's some wishful thinking!)
